Our School - German International Education

Our Mission

We equip students with strong academic, social, and cultural foundations, preparing them for future success in a diverse world. We offer this as part of the Taipei European School in a diverse, multi-language and multi-cultural environment.

Elementary School (Grades 1-4)

• Language Instruction: German is the primary language, with additional learning in English and Chinese. Students receive ability-based language support.
• Cultural Diversity: Celebrates German, Taiwanese, and international traditions to foster global awareness.
• Academic Growth: Emphasizes core subjects, motor skills, and social development through engaging activities.
• Independence & Collaboration: Encourages self-reliance and teamwork through structured discussions in the class council.

Secondary School (Grades 5-10)

• Age Group: 10-16 years
• Certification: Students earn the German Middle School Certificate (Mittleren Schulabschluss - MSA) at the end of grade 10.
• Focus: Strong emphasis on multilingual education to develop proficiency in multiple languages.

Secondary School (Grades 11-12)

• Program: Students participate in the bilingual International Baccalaureate (GIB).
• Language Proficiency: Designed to help students achieve native-level fluency in both German and English.
• Opportunities: Prepares students for university or professional careers in Germany and worldwide.
